Complaints

The service aims to receive reports and complaints about violating any of the provisions of PDPL.

Requirements

  • The complainant must have an account in Absher.
  • Provide sufficient information on the complaint.
  • Submit supporting documents for the complaint.
  • Log in to the National Data Governance Platform.
  • Click on the ‘Electronic Services’ icon.
  • Choose ‘Reports and Complaints’ Service.
  • Select the Start Service.

Complaints are accepted and processed exclusively through the National Data Governance Platform

The personal data subject has the right to file a complaint within a maximum period of 90 days from the date of the incident or their awareness of it. The competent authority may evaluate the admissibility of the complaint if submitted after this period, considering factual grounds that may have prevented the individual from filing the complaint within the stipulated timeframe
 

Complaints are received and dealt with in accordance with strict procedures that ensure speed and quality in dealing with them.

If the complaint is substantiated, the necessary measures will be taken with the violator in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law and the implementing Regulations
