The Data and Privacy Regulatory Sandbox

The Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) launched the first Data and Privacy Regulatory Sandbox in MENA.

The Sandbox is currently running its first cohort with six participants testing their innovative use cases against the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its Implementing Regulations. Participants are focused on technologies including PETs (Privacy Enhancing Technologies), Biometrics, IoT, AI, Data Analytics and Machine Learning.
